Expanding its presence on the track, Hot Wheels® partnered with Dreyer & Reinbold Racing Team and primary sponsor Dad’s Root Beer to create a #24 Dad’s Root Beer car with an entirely new custom paint scheme themed around Dad’s Root Beer and the iconic Hot Wheels® flames. Originally unveiled at the 2010 Indianapolis 500, driver Graham Rahal eventually raced the #24 car in the Iowa Corn Indy 250 race over Father’s Day weekend. Conceived as a 1:64 scale model, Hot Wheels® recognized an ideal opportunity to celebrate these brands that really tie the bond of dads and sons to the racing and automotive communities.
